Hello all, as I said I'm new here. My husband and I have been trying for our first child for the last 2 years. I recently broke down and went to a fertility specialist knowing full well with a $10,000 insurance deductible that I'd be paying out of pocket for all of this. Sofar, testing has been about $1000 which I've been able to pay in full. The problems is that the nurses tell me I don't produce enough progesterone to maintain a pregnancy. The supplements they put me on are going to end up being $500 per month if I continue on it. I'm on 2mg Estadiol twice a day, 200mg Prometrium 3x/day and progesterone suppositories (blech) 2x/day. It is going to be impossible for me to maintain this payout for more than a month or two. Is there anyone here who knows anything about this. I feel so alone, I have no one (besides my husband - who is great but can't r1elate) to talk to about this. I am looking for any support I can find. <3 thanks all

Hi, ladies! Wanted to join. This is my first post on this board. I really hope I'll find friends here. A couple of words about myself. I'm 38 yo with DOR. dh - 39 yo, his swimmers are perfect. Facing fertility problems we decided to try natural cycle with clomid - too many to count! One cancelled IUI because of cysts. Another IUI ending in BFN. After all the beartbreaking news we switched the clinics onto Ukrainian one for a new hope. So that IVF#1. ER July 2016 - 4 follies 1 egg. ET - transfered 1 embryo - BFN. Another step - were told IVF with my OE was not going to work...Time to move onto plan B - using donor eggs. So right at the moment we're preparing to a completey new phase for us. I can't say I got used to the idea to the full, but feel like this is our only chance. Besides time presses, I do feel like it flies by. Sorry for this cry but I really need support. My dh is already tired of all the process. He's my hero as never doubts the positive outcome, and me- I'm just losing hope that one day my dream will come true.. Sending you much of love and support on this tough path X
