New Black dot on toe after returning from vacation

What could this be? No pain, no symptoms. Just black dot.

Such a hyperpigmented spot can be benign however it needs to be observed if there is any increase in size change in colour or other variations then a biopsy can be considered to determine the nature of the lesion. History of trauma, allergy, insect bite or bleeding disorder should also be looked for and asked in the history
