What challenges do neurological cancer patients face?

It's a very broad question malignancies can be very tough to handle and can be all together depressing for the patient
there are physical issues as well as mental and psychological aspects to the diagnosis
the lesion or lesions themselves can lead to a number of neurological manifestations including seizures loss of consciousness altered mental state and focal neurological deficits
If the patient decides to undergo intervention for a relatively localized and resectable lesion then it may lead to postoperative complications however if the lesions are secondary that is metastasized to the brain or multiple or unresectable then palliative care is offered at best
