negative for type 2, what could this sore be?

User Profile
I recently was tested for herpes 1 and 2. Although I was negative for type 2, I was positive for type 1. I have had a small sore on my inner labia (only one) that has appeared twice recently. It does NOT hurt to pee, so I am wondering what could it be? I have not been sick recently, nor do I have swollen glands or tingling in the genital region. Please help.

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern
Drugs including Famvir, Zovirax, and Valtrex are among the drugs used to treat the symptoms of herpes. Appropriate wound / sore care should be done to avoid bacterial infection. You can use gabapentin for the associated pain. please consult your doctor before starting any meds

wishing you best of health
