Hi..My name is cynthia and Im 19 years old I just have a problem see...I need to get my tonsils out but I think theres a big possiblity I might be pregnant...Can they still give me the prodecure even if Im pregnant or if not whats the most the doctors can do for me if I am pregnant?

Most minor procedures can safely be done during second trimester of pregnancy. During the first trimester, the procedures are risky. Discuss about your pregnancy with your treating doctor and see if they can go ahead with it or they want you to wait until you are into second trimester of pregnancy. Visit your gynecologist/obstetrician for further discussion and assistance. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
