Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Since the ultrasound has come negative, so chances of pregnancy are less likely. But sometimes the ultrasound if done very early cannot confirm gestational sac. Hence get your serum HCG levels checked or a transvaginal ultrasound done.

If it comes negative then intermenstrual bleeding should be evaluated. Other causes which need to be looked into are fluctuation in hormone levels, hypothyroidism & fibroid in the uterus. It could also be due to a genital infection, cervical polyps or ectopic pregnancy. You should consult a gynecologist for the diagnosis and treatment as without examination, confirmation of diagnosis is difficult.

I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
