my whole life I have been irregular.

So its been about 4 months since I've had my period. But my whole life I have been irregular. And there is no chance I can be pregnant. Also I read that it can be do to stress, which sound really reasonable for my current situation, is that true?.. And lots of playing with myself and I read that that can affect it as well.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for your irregular periods/menstrual cycles and long gaps between periods without examining you and going ahead with thorough evaluation. Having long gaps between periods usually suggests anovulatory cycles (menstrual cycles without release of egg from ovary). If you are not pregnant, the possibilities could include secondary amenorrhea due to obesity or increase in body fat percentage, brain or pituitary tumors, PCOS, ovarian suppression, premature ovarian failure, thyroid dysfunction, use of certain medications, changes in stress levels or lifestyle, hormonal derangements, etc. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation (physical examination, blood and hormonal work-up, ultrasound scan) to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you get your periods and regulate them. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
