Hello. My last period was June 14th. I was wondering if i could be pregnant. I have this achy feeling where menstrual cramps would be but its not cramps, I've gotten faint lines on home tests, my breasts are sore and more full, my nipples are a little darker very sore and veiny, i have a doctors appt in a week but i cant wait that long for advice or a opinion. More symptoms include more acne than usual, weight gain, constipation, cravings, had a UTI and i hear that's common in pregnancy, vivid dreams, my mom says I'm "glowing", very bad heart burn and just a feeling of being pregnant. If anyone could help me that would be amazing. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. I understand the need to see a doctor but since its a week away i would love to hear an opinion. Thank you very much in advance (: if there are any other questions just ask.

Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A38181
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms abdominal cramps, fuller feeling and sore breasts, darker nipples, appearance of veins over breasts, increase in acne, weight gain, constipation, mood swings, food cravings, repeated UTIs, vivid dreams, heartburn that you describe could be few of early symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. The urine pregnancy test kits rarely show false positive results and if the tests have shown positive results (even faint positive), it is likely that you are pregnant. However, the test should always be done on early morning first urine sample to get accurate results (pregnancy hormone HCG is believed to be in highest concentration in this sample, and you should avoid lot of fluid intake and caffeinated beverages in the night before taking the test). The test results should be read within the specified time to avoid false readings (evaporation lines can give appearance of positive test). Wait and watch for your periods. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy.
Take care.
