Hello and welcome to e health forum

With regarding to HIV ELISA - Antibody tests, the presence or absence of HIV Ab is determined by relating the absorbance value of the specimen with a spectrometer.

The value 0.091, in your report is the absorbance value of the test, and should not be confused with Antibody levels. In your case, the test is non reactive, which means that no HIV antibodies were detected and you are not HIV infected.

An absorbance value of less than 0.000 AU (which you were probably expecting) is never seen with HIV ELISA tests, as this would indicate a procedural or instrument error, and in such a case, the result is invalid and the specimen must be re-tested.

As far as your result is concerned, since the test is non reactive, it means that you do not have HIV antibodies , and hence not infected with HIV.

I hope this helps.
