My girlfriend can't breathe and i really need your help!!

Ok my girl told me in that she couldn't breathe through her nose I thought it just might of been allergies or just some simple congestion problem that was going to take some time to get over but the seasons change she gets rid of her cat keeps house clean(best that we can) and keeps away from pollen cigarettes but after we do all of that her breathing still remains horrible I get scared at night while laying with her, her breathing is always raspy from start to finish but she had gaps between her breathing when its completely silent and she doesn't breathe I turn her on her side then I can hear her unconscious attempt at breathing through her nose but that's no good she cant take enough air in so she returns to mouth breathing I realm need to know how I can help her besides taking her to the hospital which is on 3/08 but what should I ask the doctor or what kind of remedies can I try please anybody can you help me please I love her and I just want her to get better so please...

Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

She needs to be examined. It could be possible nasal obstruction , sleep apnea or related to an upper respiratory tract infection. Treatment specifically, would depend upon the cause of obstruction.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
