Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have been on chronic codeine use, it can harm the sperm morphology and motility to certain extent (depending on the dosage and duration of use). Usually if the morphology and motility of the sperms is affected, chances of the women getting pregnant are less. If she has conceived, chances are that the baby will not be affected. If you are worried, consider getting early anomaly scan (between 16-20 weeks of gestation) to look for any defects or developmental problems in the fetus. Discuss about the problem with her gynecologist/perinatologist and proceed with further management.
Take care.
