my blood sugar wont go down?

I have diabetes and my bloodsugar wont go down.! I have been really working on it this week and im 13 years old

From the history provided it seems that you may be having type 1 Diabetes mellitus. ‎

Managing diabetes can be frustrating, challenging, and will naturally require many changes in ‎your lifestyle. Diabetes impacts every aspect of life -- and requires changes in diet, food ‎preparation, managing medications and glucose levels. ‎

Because diabetes will require so many changes to your diet -- and, in turn, the food you have in ‎your house -- your family will naturally have to play a big part in a diabetes plan. As a means of ‎support, friends and family can be invaluable.‎

Diabetes support groups can enhance the efforts of your friends and family in the management of ‎your diabetes care. If nothing else, a diabetes support group can be a place for you to meet people ‎who are struggling with the same burden; it can give you the opportunity to talk openly about ‎your challenges among people who truly understand.‎

A treatment plan for diabetes can seem fairly abstract on a day-to-day level. You may make the ‎right diet and exercise choices, as well as check your glucose levels, but how do you know that ‎any of your efforts are really having a positive effect. Diabetes is a strange condition because it ‎might not affect your health in the short term, but it may have devastating long-term ‎consequences.‎

Healthy eating helps keep your blood sugar in your ‎target range. It is a critical part of managing your diabetes, ‎because controlling your blood sugar can prevent the ‎complications of diabetes.

A registered dietitian can help make an eating plan just for you. ‎It should take into account your weight, medicines, lifestyle, ‎and other health problems you have.

Healthy diabetic eating includes

‎1. Limiting foods that are high in sugar
‎2. Eating smaller portions, spread out over the day
‎3. Being careful about when and how many carbohydrates you ‎eat
‎4. Eating a variety of whole-grain foods, fruits and vegetables ‎every day
‎5. Eating less fat
‎6. Limiting your use of alcohol
‎7. Using less salt

Recommended foods
Quality is much more important than quantity. Make your ‎calories count with these nutritious foods:
‎
Focus on the healthiest carbohydrates, such as fruits, ‎vegetables, whole grains, legumes (beans, peas and lentils) and ‎low-fat dairy products.
‎
Fiber-rich foods can decrease the risk of heart disease and help ‎control blood sugar levels. Foods high in fiber include ‎vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes (beans, peas and lentils), ‎whole-wheat flour and wheat bran.
‎
Eat heart-healthy fish at least twice a week. Fish can be a good ‎alternative to high-fat meats. Cod, tuna and halibut, for ‎example, have less total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol than ‎do meat and poultry. Fish such as salmon, mackerel and herring ‎are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which promote heart health by ‎lowering blood fats called triglycerides. However, avoid fried ‎fish and fish with high levels of mercury, such as tilefish, ‎swordfish and king mackerel.
‎
‎'Good' fats. Foods containing monounsaturated and ‎polyunsaturated fats — such as avocados, almonds, pecans, ‎walnuts, olives, and canola, olive and peanut oils — can help ‎lower your cholesterol levels. Eat them sparingly, however, as all ‎fats are high in calories.
‎
FOODS TO AVOID:-
‎
High-fat dairy products and animal proteins such as beef, hot ‎dogs, sausage and bacon contain saturated fats. Get no more ‎than 7 percent of your daily calories from saturated fat.
Trans fats are found in processed snacks, baked goods, ‎shortening and stick margarines and should be avoided ‎completely.
‎
Sources of cholesterol include high-fat dairy products and high-‎fat animal proteins, egg yolks, shellfish, liver and other organ ‎meats. Aim for no more than 200 milligrams (mg) of cholesterol ‎a day.
‎
Sodium. Aim for less than 2,000 mg of sodium a day.
‎
You might consider consulting a dietitian for advice on a ‎‎diabetic diet and your physician, for ‎management of diabetes ‎‎and other associated conditions. ‎

Hi. I suggest you eat a lot of bitter gourd, it helps decrease blood sugar level. My dad has been diabetic even before I was born and he has been having problems with his blood sugar level. He's been drinking this REH Herbal food supplement [it's very bitter, it has like 77 or so different natural ingredients and it has been proven safe and effective on diabetic patients]. It's a product solely manufactured here in my country so I'm guessing you don't have it where you live. If in doubt, just check youtube or check Google for proof of diabetic patients who've had been advised by doctors to have their feet or hand cut off but since taking this so-called supplement, they've actually been saved from going under the knife.

My dad has been taking it for over a year now and he has recently stopped injecting insulin [twice a day for almost 8 years just to maintain his blood sugar level] and he's perfectly healthy. I hope you find this advice helpful.

For diet which is the most important part to cure diabetes. Use honey instead of sugar. Use berry fruits which are helpful to control diabetes and also blood sugar.
