My father, 54 has been feeling tingling sensation in his left lip ( upper and lower ), 2 lower teeth and tip of the tongue from last 3 weeks now. CT scan showed no problem. I have noticed that his lips, eyes, nose move involuntarily only while he is asleep. Also there are certain slight movements in his limbs too while sleeping. Probably coz of the medicine he has been sleeping a lot too. Can this be MS?
Also has slight high bp.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!
These symptoms are not typical of MS. Also peak age of MS onset is 40 years.Vitamin and mineral deficiencies is the main reason in elderly individuals. Sleep disturbance is the other reason. Start him on multivitamins, minerals and anxiolytics.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
