3mths since I had open surgery...

It's been 3mths since I had open surgery to repair two hernias. The doctor didn't use mesh to repair them. I can still see a big bulge in the lower right part of my abdomen where one of the hernias was. I don't feel pain but I can clearly see a bulge should I be worried?

Hello, and thanks for your medical question on E Health Forum.

Since there is no pain or any other symptom at the site of the hernia surgery, it does not seem to be something to worry about.

The lump could be just a collection of fat tissue that is common after such surgeries.

You might consider consulting your treating doctor for a physical examination to get a proper diagnosis and clear your doubts.
