Menstruation Answer A18675
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
If you are breastfeeding the baby exclusively, then the amenorrhea could be resultant due to ‘lactation amenorrhea’. Breastfeeding suppresses ovulation and periods. However, getting a thorough check done with your gynecologist to confirm that it is due to lactation amenorrhea. If you suspect being pregnant, look out for symptoms suggestive of pregnancy.
Take care.
