Is you water fluoridated? Recent studies show fluoride accumulates in the pineal gland. You may want to read my article http://www.wikinut.com/avoid-fluoride-prod ucts-to-awaken-kundalini/cltymu42/14_fotdl /. Make sure he isn't using fluoride products at all. Some kids swallow their fluoride toothpaste or mouthwash. Packaging of these products include a warning that if swallowed call poison control! Do not give this to kids then!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Pineal cysts are benign. More than 5mm usually causes compression of cerebral aqueduct. Neurosurgical intervention is needed in your case.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
