Is it ok to take Co-codamol whilst taking slow release Morphine? The diclofenac or paracetamol top-ups just are not working anymore but I have Co-codamol left over from a year or so ago before I went on the Morphine.

Morphine ER doesn't normally interact with NSAIDs or other anti-inflammatory meds. However Morphine in all forms can combine unpredictably with other pain medications, it can actually reduce the pain fighting ability of the morphine. Additionally a year old-dose of any prescription medication is iffy. They'd go better in your trashcan than in your body. It's worth the expense and hassle of going to your doctor to re-evaluate your pain medication.
