Hello and welcome to e health forum.

The causes of having irregular periods can be due to anovulatory cycles associated with conditions like dysfunctional uterine bleeding.

The cause of delayed pregnancy needs to be assessed with a complete medical history and a physical examination. In addition, the cause of the miscarriage also needs to be known. Other causes like endocrine disorders of the thyroid gland also need to be ruled out, as it can also cause fertility issues.

You may consult with your treating doctor or your OBGYN doctor , for proper advice and treatment.
