miscarriage and luteal phase length

will a recent miscarriage affect the length of my luteal phase?

Melbrad, 95% of women have an LP of between 12 and 16 days with the average being a very strong 14 days.

After a miscarriage, the pregnancy hormones can still stay in your system a while so it can affect your whole cycle, ovulation, LP and menstruation. Of course it also depends on the stage at which the miscarriage happened.

After a while, your cycle should however return to 'normal'. You can experience some long term effects on your cycle like length and bleeding. I doubt however if LP will change by a lot.
