Welcome to ehealthforum,
The early brown discharge could be suggestive of possibility of implantation bleeding if you have been sexually active after your last periods. Look out for development of any other new symptoms. Wait and watch for your next periods. If you do not get your periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you get abnormal periods, or if you develop symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, you should consider visiting your gynecologist for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Other possibility of brown discharge is ovulation bleeding or infective cause. If pregnancy gets ruled out, go ahead with getting vaginal swab/smear test done to identify any infective cause. Get started on treatment simultaneously with your partner to prevent re-infection. Avoid having intercourse while being on treatment.
Take care.
