Mild tingling sensation on both elbows and knees

I am 28 healthy male and for the last 2 weeks I've been experiencing a tingling sensation on both my elbows and my knees. It lasts throughout the day and usually stays the same. I've gone to my doctor and they did some blood test on thyroid, B12, Calcium etc and everything was fine. They think it will go away and resolve on its own. I do have anxiety and stress already and this is making it worse. Do you think stress and anxiety can cause this?

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

If the electrolytes especially calcium levels(both free and bound) , B 12 levels, and thyroid function tests were normal then its possible that anxiety is the cause. Lorazepam can be advised for 2 weeks to look for improvement. Psychotherapy sessions should also be sought to learn how to cope with stressful situation in a better way, if possible.

Wishing you best of health
