I had microvascular depcompression surgery 4 weeks ago. I still have facial pain and numbness with headaches. Shouldn't I be pain free without headaches by now?

Thanks for using this forum..

Post MVD you should have decreased intensity of the pain,at times you may require some carbamazepine to completely remove the pain..Long term neuralgia takes more time to settle down....
