Welcome to ehealthforum

Missing the perioda altogether can be due to hormonal imbalance and is indicative of any underlying disorder as ovarian cysts,Endometritis etc.Having periods completely for a year is not a good sign and requires evaluation.
Consider visiting a Gynaecologist earliest for evaluation and you might require USG scan and Hormonal analysis to rule out the exact cause.Kindly do not ignore it as it can affect the fertility and cause problems later.

Take Care!
