User Profile
Am 22 years and last month I had a closely sex intercourse with my boyfriend for the very first. Though he did not enter me but we had a romantic activities that led to several release of some sperms on the bed. But am afraid as I haven't seen my menstrual cycle this month.....Please is there any tendency that I might be pregnant or what might be cause of the delay? This delay is happening for the first time that's why am mostly scared.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Delay in cycle could be due to the various reasons and believe me,pregnancy is one of them only. You need to do a pregnancy testing now though the chance is very low as per your version. However,if it is negative: stress, strain, anxiety or tension can be the common causes of this delay.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
