Mens Conditions Question

User Profile
I had my circumcision done 6 weeks ago and the sensitivity in the glans is still just as painful as day 1. I am still unable to wear underwear. What am I to do? I am on strong painkillers and using an anaesthetic gel but still, the pain is unbearable. I am 27 years old and I am worried about the amount of time I am taking off work. I am also due to go on a big holiday in 3 weeks so worried that I've also lost thousands of pounds on that too.

Is there any advice I can get to heal faster? My mental health is taking a big hit too because I am stuck in a small flat with no human contact.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Healing process is bit slow in this age compared to infants and children. I would suggest you to take gabapentin besides your other medications and hope for the best result.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
