I'm 47, 9 years ago I had a partial hysterectomy. About a year later I developed what i thought was just bad breath. Over the years it progressed and I've looked for a cure but was unable to find one. A few years later I developed a foul odor that would come out of my mouth and nose every few months. Been to every doctor, yo name it i've seen him. When i finally stopped to listen to my body i noticed this odor would come at the end of the month. When I did have a period i would ovulate at the end of the month like clockwork, never late last week of the month always. I noticed that's when the odor was at it's worse (I mean so bad I would stay home for a couple of days until it went away). At first it was every three months or so but lately it's been every month, I've been marking my calendar so I know for sure it's during the time I would ovulate. I also noticed I stopped having symtoms of ovulation (sore breast, mood changes) their gone and the odor has gotten worst. I went to my ob/gyn and she is treating me for bacteria infection, I just finished my 5 day treatment. I'll know for sure next week if this is actually working. She also explained that I'm going through and have been since my surgery menopause and this could be the cause of my odor. So has anyone else experienced anything simular to this and how were you treated?
