Is it normal to be bleeding 2 weeks after a medical abortion and having severe cramps that are at times manageable by taking painkillers? The issue is the cramps at times get out of control and pain too much though the bleeding is normal with small sized clots

Welcome to this forum.
You should be fine within two weeks. If you still have intense pain and moderate bleeding, there is a probability that the abortion is not complete. Wait for a week and if the same condition persists,go to meet your doctor. Apart from a clinical checkup, you might need a scan to see if there is anything still stuck inside.
Hope I can address your query. Please visit your doctor if there is any further confusion as without a clinical examination it is not possible to opine through an online medical forum.
