Welcome to e health forum.

For your information, parameters that help for normal conception and pregnancy include - the following:-

The normal counts - 60 million per ml, with at least 30% of them having normal morphology.
The normal motility is 60% of the observed sperms or (at least 8 million per ml)
The normal volume - is between 1.0 mL and 6.5 mL.

The motility of 50% is slightly lower, but there is no need to worry.

If your doctors have indicated that your semen analysis is normal, then you need not worry.

In that case, you might have mentioned the morphology of normal sperms as only 5 % by mistake.

In most normal couples, pregnancy can be achieved within 12 months of unprotected intercourse. About 82-87% of couples in their 20s through mid-30s will become pregnant within 1 year of co-habitation.

If you are unable to conceive even after 1 year of trying to have a baby, then it would indicate possible infertility.

There are three things a couple must have to get pregnant: the woman must ovulate, the man must have sperm, and the woman must have open fallopian tubes. If any of these are not functioning optimally, a couple may experience infertility, which affects about 13-15% of couples at any point in their reproductive lives.

Infertility can be due to combination of factors involving both the male and the female partners. Hence both partners should be involved in the evaluation and treatment.
Female and male causes are nearly equally responsible for infertility (30-40% for each). In 20% of cases, there is a combination of male and female causes. In 10% of cases, no cause can be detected for the infertility problem after examination and investigation of both partners (unexplained infertility).

Hence wait for at least 1 year after marriage, and if you don't conceive even by then consult a doctor and seek appropriate help.

I hope this helps.
