Lymphoma Question

User Profile
27 YO Female, 160 lbs, 5'2 with no history of health issues; no medication; no cancer in family; no major illnesses in family. In January (18) I noticed a small cluster "texture" on the side of my neck kind of along my sternocleidomastoid muscle. No enlarged nodes per se, but I've noticed this part looks puffier than the other side when I bend my neck in opposite directions. the texture feels...lumpier? Kind of tender in some pressure points. No distinct structure different but a few little nodes that vary in size the way the other side does not. The muscle itself feels tender. But this texture has remained. I have had weight loss that enables me to "feel"my neck more clearly. Don't know if this is in my head or a possible concern? Have made an appointment. I just want some peace of mind.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
These are normal findings. Weight loss is significant only when it is more than 10% in 6 months.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
