lupus symptoms - always tired

in the past year I have been diagnosed with some kind of infection about 7-8 times and needed to be put on antibiotics. I get bronchitis and fevers as common as most people get colds if not more. I had pneumonia and pericarditis and was diagnosed with arthritis. My feet go purple whenever they want to, it freaks people out then they go white. Sometimes when i am out in the sun i get a blotchy rash on my face. I have hypertension and I get really bad headaches. i am 20 and i am always tired, i would rather sleep than go out at any point in the day. I am sick of going in to see my dr for something like my headaches or being so tired and she just thinks i am full of it. I get random painful abdominal pain, blood in my stools and have ocd. Its frustrating, i am really athletic and eat well and healthy but i am tired of never feeling quite right.

Here is what I have to say about that doctor...FIND ANOTHER ONE! I had doctors that did not believe me, and I would smile politely, and then walk out and make an appointment with a different specialist. This led me to the proper treatment for my symptoms by doctors that BELIEVE in me...keep searching!

Thats exactly what i did! I live in a another suburb and used to go to my local doctor regarding my severe back pain, they said I need to loose some weight in order for my back pain to go, i tried to loose some weight but the pain just seemed to get more intense and I would always come home after school and sleep for hours and hours, then when we moved to another suburb I started to get severe pain in my fingers and hands, so we went to a doctor in this new suburb and thats were they told me that i might have lupus. they then sent me to a specialisd and i was then diagnosed with minor lupus Smile I am very glad i found out quickly, if i was still going to my previous doctors I am sure they never would have found out what was really wrong with me and would have just given me unnessary medication! so its really good to consult different doctors and specialists Smile
