This is quite embarrassing but the other day I noticed that I had a small lump on the rim of my anus.

I've looked at it and it is a sort of brown/grey colour. It is about the size of a pea and is quite uncomfortable when pressed.

It sometimes feels quite uncomfortable when I sit down for a while.

Hey, do you have any other issues or symptoms? Not to post this all extra public like, but is there a chance it cuold be a wart or an std? (no need to answer just food for thought)

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Its infectious. You would need topical antibiotic like mupirocin or fusidic acid to combat this problem.
