Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out.

There are many possibilities for such a lump. It can be a lump due to lipoma skin which is a benign tumor.Usually it is painless and requires no specific treatment as it is self limiting.

Does it pain or is there any referred pain? Is the lump mobile? Does it decrease on lying down? What is the constituency of the lump?

Please elaborate and then only a diagnosis can be made.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
