This lump in my neck has gotten sore to the touch. It is same size about the size of marble straight down from ear. You only feel it when you turn you head a certain way. I am 72 had both thyroid removed. I am in pretty good health. Do you think it is something to be concerned about?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. To me it looks like a swollen and inflamed lymph node and that could happen even due to simple flu and cold so no worries. Jus ttake some advil and hope for the best.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
