Lump after ferret scratch

User Profile
Last night I got scratched by my ferret and cleaned the scratches really well and had my wrist bandaged all threw the night and today but when I took off the bandages to check on the scratches I noticed a bump/lump that only is visible when I tilt my hand back. Do I need to be worried about the bump/lump?

If the pet is not properly vaccinated then a tetanus toxoid short should be administered. The wound should be examined and if any local inflammation or evidence of infection is present then antibiotics and antiseptic wound care should be done. local povidone solution and neosporin should be applied. avoid applying bandages and keep the area open to help the wound Heal quickly
