Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

If there are 68 million sperms (healthy count varies from 60-70 million sperm per milliliter) and 17% (men with 12% normal morphology also father a child) have normal morphology then chances of fertility are good and only motility of 58% (highest at 60% and above) reduces the fertility level slightly.

It is difficult to conceive when you have irregular periods. The commonest causes of irregular periods are polycystic ovary, thyroid problems, high cholesterol, Cushing’s disease and disorders of adrenal gland, tumors of the ovaries and adrenals, insulin resistance, obesity and hormone imbalance. When you have irregular periods, it is difficult to determine when you are ovulating and sometimes there is no ovulation.

In your case you will benefit by IUI. Also cause of irregular periods will have to be found and treated and once you try very close to ovulation, you may conceive naturally too. This is not something you can diagnose or treat on net. Please consult a gynecologist. Correcting the problem will increase the chances of conceiving. Hope this helps. Take care!
