Welcome to ehealthforum,
If the testicle is healthy and producing sperms, then chances of him to be able to father a child are possible. The exact results can be made out with getting a semen analysis done to check the sperm count and motility. If the counts are above 20 million, and volume about 2ml, with atleast 75% alive sperms with atleast 25% with good shape/form and with rapid forward motility, then the semen is considered to be fertile. Visit your doctor/urologist/Andrologist for further clarification and assistance.
Take care.
