loneliness, anxiety, depression

I wanted to talk a little bit about my past issues and loneliness. I recently moved away from a small town into a big city. Back in my small town I had no friends due to rumors and inability to be engaging in a conversation. I left my small town to go to a uni thinking I was going to make tons of friends and have a blast, and I did make some friends, however they were not the friends that I felt I had a connection with. Things happened I distanced myself with my college "friends", and since then I haven't made any new friends. I've taken classes, I've started going on walks, and reaching out to old friends (without much success). I'm lonely and I'm not quite sure how to handle it when I cant seem to make friends.

Don't worry, right friends and right people will always find a way into your life. For now, pay attention to improving yourself, spend time with family, make your relationship with them stronger, and be productive.

Hello and welcome to EHF !

I went through your query and i understand your concern.Moving on to new places and finding new friends is a challenge some times . Give it some time and hope for the best. Anxiety can make it hard to make new friends for which you can seek help of a therapist and low doses of lorazepam.

Take care
