My blood work all came back normal. My total bilirubin is 1.0 but my urine bilirubin came back positive. Is this something I should be concerned with?

Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Both fractions i.e conjugated and unconjugated bilirubin should be done. The urinalysis report should also be sent to see if there is just a trace or marked excretion of bilirubin. Bilirubin is a product of red blood cell destruction that is metabolized in liver. Bilirubin in urine indicates liver damage or disease. Liver function tests , ultrasound abdomen and viral hepatitis profile should be obtained, in consultation with your doctor.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
