Like sleep paralysis but not quite?

User Profile
Once in a while I'll have dreams where it feels impossible to move. Like, I *am* moving, doing whatever weird dream stuff, but my limbs are incredibly heavy. The (few) people I've talked to about it have never experienced it, so I'm curious if anyone here has. I'm also curious if there's a name for this or if it falls under sleep paralysis.

Sleep paralysis is a normal phenomenon. Its the inability to move or even make noise associated particularly with REM sleep even though there is partial or complete awareness of the surroundings. The exact cause of such paralysis is unknown.
