For the about the past year I have had 4 episodes of waking up around 2 or 3 am feeling faint. It starts with feeling extremely hot, then sweating followed by lightheadedness, nausea and a dull headache that will last most of the next day. Could this be caused by increase or decrease in blood pressure while I sleep?

Hi mrsstange and welcome to ehealth:..This could be a problem with your blood pressure or a possibility of your being pre-menopausal...It's pretty much a sign of either...If it continues you should bring it to the attention of your doctor...Take care...
