I just recently found out that i am 8 and a half weeks pregnant. Yesterday morning i went to the bathroom to do a no.2 (sorry for tmi) and wiped to find blood like i was on my second day of my period. I put a pad on and it stopped. It started back late last nite or this morning but its really light. I have little cramps but its not severe, just a lil prick. Should i worry that im miscarrying?

Spotting occurs in about 30% of women in early pregnancy. Was the blood bright red or brown? Personally I would go to the ER or make an appointment soon with my doctor to get checked out. Bleeding doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage but it could and I would rather go get checked out and get an ultrasound and make sure everythings ok.

confused
I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago because i had taken a home pregnancy test, and by that weekend i started spotting brown and then a while later i started bleeding more like a red light bleeding, shortly after that i had started cramping. The doctor took my blood and said that my hormone level went down. i was at 30 when i first found out and then it went down to 20. They said that i was about 2 weeks along by my hormone level. According to my last period (may 18 ) i should be about 7 weeks. They had told me that i was probably miscarring. A few days later they took my blood and it went up a point. When i had went to the emergancy room when i was bleeding they said that my cervix was still closed. I am so confused and don't know what is going on! No one know how far along i am or how my baby is doing. they will not do an ultrasound and i don't know why! I need help!

its common during your first trimester of pregnancy but it should last no longer then three days. i think you have to just wait a while and see!! but i also looked at this website and i found it extremely helpfull and it also made me feel alot bettter so take a look at it.

It sounds like at this points things are moving along normally. It is ok to get some lightr bleeding and spotting, even some light cramping. That being said, If your cramping becomes stronger, blood heavier-lasting day after day, or you start to pass some very dark clots-then I would start to be concerned and would recommend contacting your doctor asap.

I hope at this point everything has worked out ok for you
