Leukemia Question

User Profile
My 2 year old niece was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL-B cell in June 2018. She's currently in her 3rd week of the Delayed Intensification Phase. Her newborn baby brother (born just last Friday, 12/14/2018) -- is going to get vaccines administered. Do we need to tell the pediatrician NOT to vaccinate him with anything in particular? (such as polio) so it does not compromise the 2 year old's health?

Thank you for using Ehealth forum
I went through your query and would like to help you.
New born child should get all the recommended vaccines as per your country's policy. Inform the
pediatrician about the condition of his sisrer as it always best to keep the doctors fully informed. Hope it answers your query.
Take care
