Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If your menstrual cycles are regular and of 28-30 days duration, your fertile days would lie between days 8-18, taking day 1 as first day of bleeding, and the probable ovulation day would be on 14-16th day, and if you have been sexually active around ovulation time, then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out completely. If fertile mucus had been present at time of intercourse, sperms can stay alive for 5-7 days and fertilize the egg upon ovulation. After ovulation, egg has only 24-48 hours to get fertilized. Wait and watch for your next periods. Look out for development of any other new symptoms if pregnancy is suspected. If periods do not start within 10 days of expected period dates, or if periods are abnormal, or if you have developed any new symptoms, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation to look for the underlying cause and confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
