I have been experiencing a throbbing pain on the left side of my head and the symptom is a throbbing vein between my left eye and my left ear. The vein is closer to my ear, so i would say it is in my temple region. In addition when I open my jaw, I can feel the vein moving. What can I do please?

Hi PaulGoodyear,

Put a warm compress on it for 10 to 15 minutes, relax, put on some soft music and see if that helps. It could be a muscle spasm. If you start to experience pain, dizzyness or feel like you are going to black out, go to the ER immediately.

Good Luck,
