Late Period -- Have not had sex in almost 2 months

I'm a little concerned about my period right now. My boyfriend and I have not had a very active sex life for the last couple of years because I started having this skin condition called lichen sclerosis. After working thoroughly with my gyno, the condition is gone but I still have vaginismus, which is basically a fancy way of saying that my muscles spasm when we have sex. I have been working with my dilators for the last few months a lot, and the month before last, we were able to have sex three times -- though for very short periods of time -- before I experienced too much pain and we had to stop. Each time, he wore a condom with no visible breakage. I have been on birth control for years, but stopped taking it when I couldn't have sex anymore.

Anyway, my period was about 5-7 days late last month (it's hard for me to say because I am terrible at keeping track of it). But then I got it and it lasted like a normal period, if not a little longer than usual. We have not had sex this month at all, but again my period is late.

Obviously, if you don't have sex, there is no reason to worry about pregnancy. We do have oral sex but I've heard the chances of getting pregnant from something like semen residue on your hand is very rare. We are both adults and we are both careful about these sort of things.

But I have heard that sometimes people get their period even after they are pregnant. I have this nagging paranoia that I got pregnant last month, still got my period, and that is why I'm not getting it this month. Then again, I have not been tired or nauseous or overly hungry. I put on 3 pounds over the last week but I figured it was because I've been stuffing myself with Thanksgiving food!

I also have had long cycles before as well as irregular cycles. This ended when I went on birth control, but now that I'm off of it, do you think it has come back? Do you think I have anything to be concerned about? I really, really don't want to get pregnant right now!

PS: I suppose it is worth mentioning that I am in finals week right now and very stressed out. I know that can affect things. But I am always stressed out with school, so I don't see what's so different in this instance.
