I have a question.. I have miscarried 3 times the last time I found out I had MTHFR... Ive been on folic acid for a while now and my fiance and I have been having unprotected sex. I had my period last month it was about 5 days late. This month I have not got it at all and I have had very light pink discharge twice but both times was very light and very little. I have still not yet had my period i usually get it the first week of every month. So Im def. late plus my nipples are sore and I feel very irritable im also experiencing some cramping... could I be pregnant because this did not happen to me the last couple times and Im not sure what is going on with me.

Welcome to ehealthforum

I am sorry to hear about you.MTHFR is a rare genetic disorder and can cause complications during pregnancy even leading to miscarriages.

Your symptoms as light discharge, breast tenderness, cramps are suggestive of possible pregnancy. But you need to very much vigilant.

Observe the symptoms and continue taking folic acid rich diet as eggs, leafy veggies, oranges along with vitamin supplement.

Kindly visit a Gynaecologist so that if required she might prescribe additional folic acid along with other medicaations.Avoid smoking and alcohol completely.Relax yourself.
Take care!
