By getting a EED of 18th April 2010 by scan and my LMP was 18th June 2009 could I have just ovulated late to get a EED April 18 2010?

An EDD of 18th April 2010, means that the conception occurred in July 2009. There are two possibilities. One is that you missed the periods in July due to some reason, and then conceived in late July. The other possibility is that you actually conceived in late June but the growth of the baby is not matching with the duration.

Since the scan EDD is based on the development of the baby and if there is fetal growth retardation, then the EDD will be delayed in scan. Please discuss this with your gynecologist as this confusion is persisting in your case. Take care!
