The delay in periods this time could be due to medication you took in between. Take a pregnancy test and see. If it is negative, wait for your periods to come. Also calculate the period date from April 22.
If you do not want kids now, then best to opt for regular contraceptive pills or depot shots or condoms etc. Also, if you have a history of irregular periods then get that investigated as well.
