Last period was 43 days ago. Could I be?

User Profile
I am confused. I had my Mirena coil removed July 2010 to try for a baby. Each month I have a brown discharge for a week then a 4 dayish period (the brown comes every 28days) but this month the brown came a week late, was lighter and but no period. Last period was 43 days ago. Could I be pregnant? I do not seem to 'feel pregnant', but my sister was 2 months when she found out and did not experience the usual symptons either.

Am I Pregnant Answer A19679
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is possible to be pregnant and not experience symptoms suggestive of pregnancy. Few women can experience them as early as 24hours after a fruitful intercourse, and few do not experience any of them. It depends on how your body reacts to the changes in hormonal status. If you suspect to be pregnant, then consider getting a thorough examination done by your gynecologist to look for signs of early pregnancy (changes in breast, vagina, cervix etc), and a blood HCG test to confirm/rule out pregnancy. You might need to have ultrasound scan to confirm the gestational age and probable conception date.
Take care.
