im lactating but not on birth control or pregnant. any ideas?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Lactation apart from being pregnant or on birth control pills could indicate hormonal issues. If there is derangement in hormone Prolactin there could be discharge from breasts. Consider visiting a gynecologist for a complete check. If the levels of hormones are found too elevated then a brain MRI might be needed to rule out pituitary adenoma or a Prolactinoma.
